Diplodocus is a genus of diplodocid sauropod dinosaur. It lived in what is now western North America at the end of the Jurassic Period (about 150 to 147 million years ago).The size of the animal could reach up to 35 m (115 ft). The predators Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus coexisted with Diplodocus.
