Designed for realistic or toon styled renders, the Toon Nursery is a charming little bedroom for that bundle of joy. Filled with baby furniture and props, and a few baby-safe toys, this room is sure to bring a touch of the cute factor to your renders.
The room itself features three windows adorned with flowing white curtains that let in a touch of sunlight when closed, or a full view outside the window when open. A soft, fluffy rug adorns the center of the room. It also features a closet with louvred double doors and a main door that leads to a partial hallway for renders where someone is entering or exiting the room. All walls and the ceiling, as well as the closet and the hallway, can be hidden via the scene tab to get that perfect camera angle or to let in outside lighting.
The included scene presets (for Iray and 3Delight) have the room set up for two babies, a boy and a girl. The room loads with two cribs, a dresser, a rocking chair and end table, as well as a bathing station and several toys and wall decorations. Additional lights have been added and render settings adjusted to make the room "ready to render".
All of the wooden furniture comes with two texture options: nursery white and natural wood. All of the bedding and any cushions, towels, and rug come in either pink or blue. Mix and match using presets for all props, as well as a number of hierarchical presets that will change an entire group of objects at once.
The crib features a pillow, a soft messy blanket, a patchwork quilt, a stuffed toy (either bear or kitten) and a hanging mobile with cartoon animals.
The baby station features a bureau with a drawer, stacks of folded diapers, a towel, baby lotion, baby oil, wipes, cotton swabs, and baby powder. A choice of either a bathtub with soapy suds and a rubber ducky, or a changing station with a large soft cushion, can be added via smart props, or a preload for either a bathing station or changing station is available.
Additional props for the room are a rocking chair with cushion, a toy giraffe on wheels, a teddy bear, a kitten toy, a stack of baby books, a flower-shaped vase with large, colorful daisies, a wall hanging with a large cloud, moon, and stars, framed artwork, stuffed alphabet and number wall hangings (A,B,C,1,2,3 only), and a star-shaped lamp.
The set has been carefully designed to render nicely in either Iray or 3Delight. It is not limited to toon-style renders and the room itself can be used for any number of bedroom renders.
