A set of 4 morphing props, 14 static props, and 1 render setting preset for your Shoujo Manga Style needs.
[ Freebie Version Coming Soon ft. more environment maps + 1 extra flower fall prop so keep an eye out! ]
If you have any issues or run into any bugs, please let me know! I'm still very new to packaging assets and I lack beta testers at present.
All promo scenes were rendered using Vintage Sakura Environment Map with and without scene lighting. Mesh & Item showcase images use 'Milk Tea' preset from my free Soft n' Sweet set.
[ CONFESSION LETTER PROPS ]
Because it's easier than saying things and a little more dramatic than a text. Gotta have that extra oomph, y'know?
The mats include plain options if what you're confessing to isn't a crush, though.
Go ahead. It's called hate mail for a reason (although it'd be way more fun using a flower print stationary for that, too, in my opinion).
4 Morphing Items + 1 Static Item & 48 Mats (total for paper, envelope, and sticker)
Sealed Letter (4 morphs)
Crumpled Letter (static)
Flat Paper (6 morphs)
Folded Paper (2 morphs)
Empty Envelope (1 morph)
Template Guide for the paper and envelope fronts are included for adding your own text or drawing.
[ FLOWER FALL PROPS ]
Hand-painted textures for a soft look with just a little bit of extra bump and normals, I did my best to keep these little petals as light as possible so they could be added multiple times over without dragging a scene down too much and still look good. If you run into an issue, though, stripping them of their textures and simply using a base color can still look good for distance shots.
6 Static items & 12 Mats
Wide Scatter
Top Down Scatter
Left to Right Scatter
Right to Left Scatter
Swirl Scatter
Single Petal
[ SHOUJO STAR SPARKLE PROPS ]
You can't have a manga without Sparkles. You can, actually, but it's more fun with them. Especially when it's horror themed. It just adds a little somethin'.
Sure, you could just add it in postwork, but where's the fun in that?
There are 3 custom style mats per star type along with an Add Glow switch mat to turn on emission filters (plain white by default) along with 5 Universal Mats that work across star type.
4 of these are OpenVDB Volumetric Shader based, but worry not! They have their own, custom .vdb pre-loaded and ready to go included (if, for some reason, you need to find it manually the readme has the file path).
6 Static items & 17 Mats (total)
Swirl Scatter
Tall Scatter
Short Scatter
Single Type 1 Star
Single Type 2 Star
Single Type 3 Star
[ OVERLAY WALL SHELL ]
A very simple, semi-opaque backdrop (or front-drop…is that a thing?) for adding extra effects to a scene with 9 mats. The mesh is thin and curved for adding volume while also being more easily fitted with figures and scenes while minimizing clipping as much as possible with a solid base form. Don't have enough sparkles and petals already with the props? Here's your solution! 3 of the textures are a light greyscale for building your own needed styles with the base color and glossy color inputs more easily. The others are split by Pink, Lilac, and Vintage. The textures and cutout work on any square or rectangular plane surface when loaded manually - just adjust for stretching as needed in scale.
[ VINTAGE SAKURA ENVIRONMENT MAP & PRESET ]
Because if all that wasn't enough, we have to wrap things up with a dusty pink environment map for good measure.
Featuring a bank of soft clouds and a sun-ring burst, the map can be used with full scenes or as a backdrop with draw dome.
Ground Fog is enabled by default, creating a hazy film along the horizon line.
Like with the .vdb file, if you need to find the .exr manually, the readme contains the file path.
