The Smoking Room

The Smoking Room specifically catered to the sophisticated Victorian male. Originally designed to resemble the fashionable men's clubs of London and New York, it offered several alcoves in which to enjoy an intimate conversation, a pipe, cigarettes -- and of course a drink.


In other areas, tables can be conveniently placed for a friendly game of cards. Alerts were even posted to warn the unsuspecting patrons that card sharks frequented them.
