Historical European Swords: 11th Century

While fantasy swords may look amazing, there's something to be said for the elegance and simplicity of their real-world counterparts. The 5 one-handed sword props in this package are all based on actual swords that date from the early to late 11th century. The names given here are simply for identification purposes, and include:

-Baltic: approximately 99 cm long, this sword features a flared crossguard, indicative of at least some Viking inspiration.
-Kveld: a stout blade, approximately 100 cm in length. Its name is an Old Norse word meaning "evening".
-Maltese: arguably the most elegant sword in this package, it measures over 101 cm in length.
-Skammr: possibly the earliest sword in this group, it is unmistakably Viking, bearing a strong resemblance to the Roman gladius. Its name is an Old Norse word meaning "short", appropriate since it measures only about 76 cm.
-Yorkshire: measuring approximately 91 cm and featuring a distinctive curved crossguard, this sword is based on one of the best-preserved swords ever uncovered from this era.

Each sword comes in a standalone version, and as a smart-prop to M4 and V4's hands; in all, there are 25 props.
M4 and V4 hand poses are also included, and with some adjustments, these props should be usable with any humanoid figure. There are also 5 MAT poses for each sword to change the color of the grips.

*DAZ users: these swords will load in DAZ Studio, but you must apply DAZ-compatible materials manually.
