Large caliber pistol Gunsys .49 MegaMag was originally designed as a defensive weapon for units of heavy armored infantry. The basic type of ammunition with uranium core excelled in high penetrative strength and was designed especially against armored targets, whether pedestrians or vehicles. Other types of ammunition include, for example incendiary rounds, antipersonnel fragmentation bullets, EMP rounds and the like. With its simple system design, high efficiency and reliability this weapon soon spread and become very popular, despite its great weight and large dimensions.
