In a place with almost continuous winds but a prohibition against steam or electric power, a Wind-powered Train makes perfect sense. Engineered with sophistication, the Wind Engine has eight spinning rotors that are lowered out of the wind to control speed. An intricate support framework with balance booms is cable-braced to keep the rotors and the engine upright even in strong winds. The Wind Train includes a 2nd-class Passenger Car with seats that can face forward or rearward. All doors open and the sides of the Engine and Passenger Car can be hidden for a view of the complete interiors.
