In 1893, Richard Jordan Gatling patented his mechanical gun that replaced the hand cranked mechanism with an electric motor, a relatively new invention at the time. But still, even powered by electricity, gatling gun remains mostly stationary weapon. Our model shifts this idea a little bit further by fictional construction of electricaly powered gatling gun as infantry type minigun design. Since gatling gun is widely used in many western movies, stories and even computer games, this is the variant of gatling you can wield while runnig around and gunning your enemies. The second variant is also inspired by steampunk, as it reperesents fictional automatic sentry turret equipped with primitive AI control unit and camera.
