What is it? A giant crayfish? Some sort of monster sea lion? A mechanical slug? Some imaginary dinosaur or extinct sea creature? It could be any of those things, but imagine that some mad genius visitor to the famous desert planet decided to recreate a mechanical counterpart of the great sandworms for introduction to some other desert. The mechanical sandworm has five major body parts, three of which are provided with rotating screws, ideal for propelling the great body under or in the sand. The head, which is more than a third of the worm's body length terminates in a huge mouth with six gaping petal jaws.
The Mechanical Sandworm is a fully-articulated, stand-alone Poser figure that can be resized from a giant machine to person-sized, down to the size of a small animal.
The Mechanical Sandworm figure has full ERC control at the Body level:
o Move each of the body parts up or down
o Rotate major parts on the body axis
o Open the jaws
o Open the beak hidden within the jaws
o Raise the "arms" away from the body
o Rotate the eyes
o Raise and extend the head spines
o Extend and rotate the hidden stinger in the tail
o Operate the propulsion screws
