H4 Hovertank

Commissioned thirty years after the end of the Medigen War, the H4 Catapult hovertank is considered the premier hunter-killer in the modern Stellar League. As its gravity-based propulsion makes mass far less of a factor than it used to be, this behemoth fills a role assigned to so-called 'tank destroyers' from the early days of armored vehicles. Its 170mm gauss cannon is capable of penetrating two feet of duralloy plate, while its own heavily sloped armored fairings provide it with a remarkable battlefield lifespan. Though its rear and underbelly engines are not as armored, the fact that this vehicle will usually be racing into battle directly makes attacks against those quarters relatively rare.
