Known as the "Tiger of the Sky" for its silent stealthy attack, the Great Horned Owl is among the largest of the true owl family, with a wingspan reaching as much as five feet. Its eyes, proportionately larger than any other terrestrial vertebrate, are tube-shaped like binoculars, and do not move, which is why its head can rotate up to 270 degrees.
Fully rigged with 120 bones, the Great Horned Owl comes with individually articulated wing and tail feathers, four neck bones (plus head, chest and abdomen), with three bones for each toe and talon for a crushing grip, as well as bones for the legs, ears, tongue and lower beak (the upper beak is a fixed part of the owl's skull).
100 posing dials are provided for a wide range of motion, along with 26 pose presets (13 flying and 13 standing poses) to get your night bird flying. 35 additional shaping morphs allow you to alter the body and head shape for greater versatility.
Camouflaged with striated fur and feathers to blend in better with the trees, this mystical hoot owl model comes in both brown and grey plumage for more rendering pleasure.
