Royal Scythian Armor for Genesis 8 Female

PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING!!!

Full scale armor inspired by the equipment of the warrior women of the Scythian/Sarmatian nobility.

This armor does not use a texture to give the effect of scales. Each scale is a model to allow to maximum realism in lighting. This can put a burden of lower end systems and extend rendering times. Also, non-standard body shapes, particularly in the chest area, will produce bending and distortion of some of the scales, so take this into consideration before purchasing. Sample images showing how this outfit appears with various morphs are shown above.

Default equipment is bronze scales, with mats to convert the scales to polished iron. Spear and shield also have mats to change between bronze (default) and iron. Presets for full armor in both bronze and iron are included. The sword scabbard and gorytos (combined quiver/bow holder) have movement options to allow them to adjust to multiple poses. The bow morphs from rest position to full draw in a realistic manner. Sword belt and gorytos belt can be used together or separately, and there is a plain belt if no weapons are desired.

Poses include bow with full draw and partial draw, and an attack pose with spear and shield. There is also a lower body pose for the legs in riding position. The sides and back of the helmet have morphs to swing out to improve compatibility with hairstyles that allow sizing of the crown of the hair to fit under the helmet.

The scarf on the helmet is dForce enabled. Simulation is best done with bone start position set to off. A dForce wind node can be used to give a variety of movement effects. Typically only a second or two of simulation with a wind node is needed.
