Cordette, the middle sister of the Toymaker, was born from silk and silence. Her pale face is flawless, but faint glimpses of suffering can be seen beneath her stare. Neither youngest nor eldest, she lingers between obedience and rebellion, the keeper of her sisters' sins. When night falls, she hums lullabies, her voice trembling with something almost otherworldly.
