dForce Aurora Weekend Outfit for Genesis 8 8.1 Female and 9

dForce Aurora Weekend Outfit for Genesis 8 8.1 Female and 9

Two figures, not one conversion

Aurora ships as two separate builds. The Genesis 8 Female version is conformed to the Genesis 8 skeleton; the Genesis 9 version is conformed to the Genesis 9 skeleton, with its own weight transfer, its own fit morphs and its own material presets.

Genesis 8.1 Female is covered by the Genesis 8 Female build, which fits it without conversion.

Two pieces, worn your way

For each figure, Aurora comes as three wearables: the top and shorts together in one click, the halter top on its own, and the shorts on their own. Wear the full set, or pair either piece with the rest of your wardrobe.

The halter top is fitted through princess seams and finished with a square neckline. The shorts have an elastic waist and a curved hem, with the waistband and the hem as separate surfaces.

A top that stays on top

Where the top meets the shorts, it rests over the waistband instead of passing through it. In the outfit wearable this is already set up, so the stripes stay outside the gingham in any pose, with no simulation needed.

Both pieces simulate

The top and the shorts ship with a dForce modifier already applied. The top is set on a higher collision layer, so when you simulate the two together it settles over the waistband. The neck strap holds the bodice through an influence map, so the front keeps its shape instead of sagging.

Fit that you control

Eleven fit morphs, four on the top and seven on the shorts, grouped under Dreamline Studios > Fit in the Parameters pane. Bust and Belly on the top; Belly, Glutes and Thighs on the shorts, with Left and Right sliders where it makes sense.

They are there for the moment a character does not match the base figure and the fabric starts to clip. Instead of fighting smoothing iterations or pushing dForce, you move a slider. The morphs are cut from each garment's own rigging, so the Genesis 9 sliders follow Genesis 9 anatomy rather than being copied across from the Genesis 8 build.

Eight colors, solid and print

Sage, Cherry, Navy, Butter, Sky, Blush, Terracotta and Black. Every color comes as a solid and as a print: pinstripes on the top, gingham on the shorts, so any top matches any pair of shorts.

On the shorts, the body, the waistband and the hem each have their own presets, so you can pair a gingham body with a solid waistband and hem in a few clicks. That is eighty material presets per figure.

Stitch detail

The color maps are 4K, and a stitch normal map draws the seams and topstitching on both pieces. Both figures share the color maps, so adding the second figure costs almost nothing in download size.

PRODUCT NOTES

- Both pieces are dForce ready. For simulation, keep the top and the shorts in the same simulation so the top settles over the waistband.
- The outfit wearable already keeps the top over the shorts in any pose without simulation.
- Fit morphs adjust the garment, not the figure.
- Materials are Iray only.
- Genesis 8.1 Female is supported through the Genesis 8 Female base.
- Genesis 9 has its own build. It is not the Genesis 8 set converted, and it does not require Auto-Fit.
