Dirty Dishes: Fantasy Food and Drinks

Dirty Dishes: Fantasy Food and Drinks is the third release in the Dirty Dishes product line. It includes a wide variety of food, drink, and supporting props designed for fantasy or medieval settings. The set focuses on showing the progression of meals being prepared and consumed, while also supporting kitbashing workflows.

The product is fully self-contained and does not require previous releases. However, the medieval-style plates are compatible with plate dirt materials from earlier Dirty Dishes products. Additional dirt materials are included for some of the new dishes.

Meals include spit-roasted rabbit, roast duck, roast pork, lamb chops, trout, beef stew on a bread trencher, chicken stew in a bread boule bowl, blackberry pie, pavlova, large meat pie, smoked turkey legs, and handheld items such as small meat pies, Cornish pasties, and sausage rolls.

Vegetables include broccoli, acorn squash, parsnip, Brussels sprouts, carrots, potatoes, celery, mushrooms, and zucchini. Individual pieces are available raw or cooked, with partial props for larger portions. Plate items are separate pieces that can be moved, removed, or swapped with other plates from previous Dirty Dishes products. Fruits include peaches, pears, apricots, black plums, and red plums in various stages of being consumed.

Props include medieval-style wrought iron cutlery, a wooden-handled knife, a cutting board, a cast-iron pot with a lid, a wicker basket, a fire pit, firewood, and stick supports for cooking setups such as hanging pots or roasting items. A wooden beer tankard with optional foam, a wooden chalice, and an ornate pewter chalice are included, all featuring tilt and empty morphs. A variety of ceramic, wooden, and pewter plates and bowls are also provided, along with a wooden serving platter.

This release also introduces wearable presets to assist with posing handheld items such as cutlery, pies, fruit, turkey legs, and sausage rolls. These presets load, parent, and position items while adjusting relevant body parts such as hands, arms, and head. Non-food presets are limited to hand poses. Wearable presets are included for Genesis 8 Female, Genesis 8 Male, and Genesis 9. Minor adjustments may be required depending on the character morph used.
