Idle Life is a free Daz Script that brings a posed Genesis figure to life. Select the figure, run the script, pick a preset (or set the controls yourself) and press Generate. The idle motion — blinks, gaze shifts, breathing, torso sway, small head, brow and mouth movements, arm and finger drift, seated fidgets or standing weight shifts — is baked onto the timeline as ordinary keyframes. No plugin, no morph packs, nothing to install: it works on top of whatever pose and whatever character you already have.
Every Generate is a fresh take, so two figures never move in sync, and a Variation control decides how far a take may stray from the settings. The result is loop-safe (last frame equals the first) and survives anything: save it as a Pose Preset with Animated Range and it applies to any character of the same generation, tool not needed.
Nine presets to start from: Relaxed, Subtle, Cinematic, Dialogue, Sleeping, Winded, Nervous, Focused, Listening. Save your own. Around forty controls if you want them — how many blinks a minute, how deep the breath and where it lives (chest, belly, mixed), sighs and breath holds, a look bias so the figure keeps facing the camera, knee bounce and foot taps for a seated figure, weight shifts for a standing one. Pin any body part so it never moves: a hand on a cup, a head that has to hold eye contact.
Clear removes the take and puts back exactly what was there before; Generate does that by itself so takes never pile up. Keys are only ever written inside the frame range you choose, and the idle can be layered on top of an animation already in that range (a walk, a Mixamo clip) so a moving figure also breathes and blinks.
What you get Idle Life.dsa, the icon and tip image, and a README that explains every control. Drop the folder into any mapped Scripts folder, or run it with File > Run Script.
Compatibility Daz Studio 4.22 and later, Daz Studio 6. Windows, Mac, Linux. Genesis 8, Genesis 8.1 and Genesis 9 — detected automatically, one file for all three.

It's not perfect, but it's at a state where it's usable. In animations I've done they really add that extra touch of realism.
