dForce Nightveil Outfit for Genesis 9 and 8 Female

Nightveil outfit is perfect for roguish adventures or simply enjoying a tankard of mead at the local tavern.

The set is designed for Genesis 9 and Genesis 8 Female and includes a dForce Cloak, Top, Pants, Undone Pants, Belt, Undone Belt, two types of Pouches, a Knife with Sheath, and Boots. It also comes with a selection of material, shader, and dForce presets for use in DAZ Studio with Iray and dForce. The Genesis 9 version is optimized for the Genesis 9 Base Feminine shape.

The outfit includes hierarchical material presets for changing the overall look, as well as additional material and shader presets for modifying individual parts or selected surfaces.

Several shaping and adjustment morphs are included to help fit a wide variety of shapes and poses.

The Cloak, Top, Pants, and Belt feature Special Morphs. Some of these morphs allow the pieces to be shaped as though they are off the figure and are intended for use when the items are not fitted to a character.

The accessories are set up with Rigid Follow Nodes and may require adjustments depending on the shape and pose used.

dForce Notes and Tips:

Simulation Setting Preset - It is recommended to run simulations with Collision Mesh Resolution set to Viewport. A preset is included to apply this setting along with Best Collision Mode.

Collision Helpers - This set includes Hand Collision Helper figures to assist with simulating the Cloak. They help prevent hands from poking through the cloak. Use the adjustment morphs as needed to better cover posed hands. The Collision Helpers are hidden during rendering.

Hide Unseen Parts – It is recommended to hide or remove parts such as the pouches and knives when they are covered by the cloak.

Parent Cloak if Needed - If figure morphs are excessively deforming the cloak, consider unfitting it and parenting it to the Upper Chest (Genesis 8 Female) or Spine 4 (Genesis 9).

Cloak Float Morphs - Using the Float Morphs can help prevent the cloak from becoming tangled around the arms during simulation.

dForce presets are included for the Cloak: Default (dynamic but retains some shape), FULL (completely dynamic), and OFF (not dynamic).

The Top, Belt, and Bottom are designed to be used without dForce but can be made dynamic using the included dForce presets: Stiff (dynamic but retains some shape), FULL (completely dynamic), and Default OFF (not dynamic).
