Here are six photos taken around sunrise in March 2019 on a Pacific Ocean beach in Washington State.

For a fantasy, this is a great place for pirates, mermaids or sea monsters.
For real life, I was having a hard time ducking the local clammers who were out by the hundreds trying to dig the limit before the sun was fully up. Most drove rusty pick up trucks down the beach and parked near where they wanted to start digging.
