Mini Submarine. Diving Support Vessel (DSV) Ventura
This 3D model is inspired by the offshore marine industry, In particular the Marine & Sub Sea institution of ‘Oceaneering’.
While many Mini Submarines are used for the offshore industry for search and recovery, there are other Mini Subs which are used for sub-sea research & development.
This model is designed with main working areas and a lower well for divers to enter the water. It also has bunk areas and a bathroom at the stern of the vessel. The Mini-Sub can be used with or without the con-tower dome. It can be hidden if required not to use.
Each component within the model can be hidden to help cameras in tight spaces.
Also provided are three separate sea state levels, Calm: (to which the main doors can be opened while at sea) Cruise: which has a bow and stern wave to show propulsion of the sub through water. ‘And Semi Submerged: which shows only the conning tower above the water.
Moving parts include: Main doors, Con tower doors, Rudders, Bulkhead, Shower, Main Hatch and Lower well Hatch doors.
