Most police stations, are built like small fortresses, to protect the personnel inside. Designed with defensible positions, the high windows, obscured clear lines of sight into the building, to keep a cop working at a desk safe from a errant bullet. Large barriers block the front entrance, allowing pedestrian traffic, but stopping would be vehicular traffic from crashing into the premise.

1stBastion's Buildings: Police Station is the first in a series of useful exterior building props for Daz Studio, with a partial interior, and includes fully optimized scenes for both the 3Delight and Iray render engines. Add some character figures and a few cars, and the ready to render scene will deliver the promo level quality.

The modern police station exterior has a large asphalt driveway and parking area with walkways approaching from both sides of the building, and includes the central lobby with reception desk which also includes the waiting area chairs, and restrictive signage. The double metal and glass sliding doors allows easy access into the building.

Scene includes walkway lights, an exterior garbage receptacle, and building height flagpole with an American flag. Parking stripes and tire stops are placed in the parking area of the asphalt. Herringbone pattern pavers follow the walkway. There is a patch of grass on either side of the entrance. There is also air filtration equipment on the roof,; as well as a large 10 foot satellite dish and solar panel receptors on the higher roofs. The basic design can be used for many different types of municipal buildings. The sign can be hidden for removed, or changed with any texture. Plenty of material zones make customization easier.
