The 100ft tower of Hemlock Folly dominates the landscape of the timeless fictional English county of Ravenshire
The tower comes with both exterior and full interior with lights (someone should really count all the steps to the top!) The modern electrics can be removed for a more fantasy feeling. There are three rooms - the tower core with it's long winding staircase, the Sun Room with big arched windows on all sides and polished floor, and the tiny octagonal lantern room with access to the gothic-turreted roof. The door and roof hatch open (parameters tab). The roof ladder can also be hidden for more open space. The tower walls etc. can be easily removed for ease of access, positioning cameras, actors etc.
Outside, extensive use has been made of Instances (DAZ Studio) and replicators (Carrara) to give depth to the scene. There are additional tree extensions beyond the set boundaries for even more depth.
The scene is divided into zones (North, South, East, West) and groups, so elements that interfere with lighting or are outside the camera view can be more easily hidden. The trees are quite high poly with no transmaps, but many of the low plants are transmapped. Different plants (eg. grass, weeds, bulrushes etc.) are grouped and can be hidden separately.
Additional props include six individual tree models (native .car trees in Carrara), opening gate and fence sections.
A separate Iray scene has preconverted materials.
