As with most Counts of legend and folklore, Hogarth is a man to be approached with trepidation or best avoided entirely.
His origins are unknown, arriving with an entourage, unexplained wealth and influence, he soon made his stake in the land. He swiftly climbed the social and political ladders while also buying up businesses and properties in the region. Within a few months not one of his rivals remained.
Some say he was a pirate captain of legend, others that he was a priest that made a deal with the dark gods. Yet maybe he is simply a distinguished noble or royal from a distant land.
How he got here isn't important. What matters is that he is here and he doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
