FPE Toon Textures for Genesis 9

FPE Toon Textures for Genesis 9 is a pack of materials and wearables to give your characters a smooth and more stylized look. While the name implies it’s only for use with toon characters, you can use it on regular shapes to turn them a bit more stylized!

This handy pack consists of neutral (Iray Uber Shader) skin with 12 different color variations. The skin applies with a smooth chest texture, but masculine or feminine nipples can be applied via the included LIE presets. In addition, all skins support the anatomical elements of both genders. So, in total, you get 12 skin material presets and 24 skin hierarchical materials (12 for each anatomical element choice).

Of course, we have also included a set of stylized eye textures with plenty of color variation in 2 different styles. You also get 17 hierarchical material presets as well as 7 partial material presets to tweak and refine the eyes.

Since we wanted to keep the pack resource-friendly and most skin colors are attained via surface settings, we included 3 blush geoshells (one for the neutral, one for the female anatomical elements, and one for the male anatomical elements) to give the skin more variation and keep the fantasy colors from turning muddy.

In addition, we added 2 eyes-related geoshells. One is an eyeliner shell, with several different styles, to accentuate the eyes and give them a more stylized look. The other is a geoshell that’s applied directly to Genesis 9's eyes to give it an inner shadow like you tend to see in drawn characters.

By using geoshells, we not only ensure these can be used on any character, regardless of whether the skin is Iray Uber or PBR shader skin, but we also create a non-destructive way of building the effects. The versatility of geoshells allows you to quickly and efficiently build, change, tweak, and/or delete things without affecting or altering your character's underlying skin.
