Early on of the 21stCentury Scientist aware the human race was on borrowed time with global warming, the rapid decline of earths finite resources and political unrest convinced the government of the human race's dire need for a back up plan .The United States working with the rest of the world built a viable and sustainable colony on Mars. After the pandemics of 2019 ,20 and 21 followed by food and heavier resource shortages a lottery was held sending healthy families from every country to live in the colonies waiting on Mars.
This is human preservation in 2101 , with earths indigenous almost a memory to both the old and new generations this colony is now home. A fully functioning city with all the creature comforts humans always desired and some new by generations never having lived on earth. Mars is now our new home and imagination is without limits.
