The formations you design cane be used for generation LowPi crowds with a less random and more structured layout. If you decide to create your own products for the LowPi ecosystem, the formations you create are allowed to ship together with your product.
The LowPi Formations Builder gives you the freedom to define formations they way you want and you don't have to be locked to the default formations that ships with the LowPi Formations Extension product.
