Max the Dreaming Chair
In a cozy nook where the sunshine spills, sat Max the chair, with tabby thrills. His fabric fur, in orange and gold, whispered of tales yet to be told.
“Oh, to be nimble! To leap and to pounce, to chase after shadows, to dance and to bounce.”
Yet daydreams fled like soft summer haze, as he pondered his purpose through long, languid days.
A little mouse scurried, with whiskers so bright, “Dear Max,” squeaked the mouse, “you’re a beautiful sight! Though dreams of being a cat fill your heart, you bring warmth and comfort — it's truly an art!”
“When children come sit here, with laughter and glee, you cradle their worries; you’re happy as can be!”
Max sighed with relief; his heart felt at ease, for he had a gift that could truly appease.
The dreams of the feline once filled him with dread, yet now he gleamed softly — a chair full of spread. So what if he never could leap or chase mice? For every sweet cuddle from kids felt so nice!
