So, I recently watched a documentary about a poor man stranded at sea, in
his life raft, for 76 days.
Heh, here's an idea, I'll model life raft, full details, with straps,
valves, removeable roof...
Of course, mint condition life raft wasn't enough for me; so I added
materials for life raft after 76 days at sea (minus puncture holes).
Then my wife asked me: "What's the use of that if you don't add some
kind of sea?!?". That was the point when everything went in the other direction!
At the end, instead of life raft as main feature and environment as bonus,
I got great open seas environments and poor, little life raft as an add-on.
Environment is basically sky dome and sea, shaped in cylindrical form.
It works better than simple plane because you get depth effect.
It's ok, looks good. So I created morph for waves... and another one,
and another one...nice! Water looks good. You can put anything on the
scene now; boats, ships, submarines...
To make this product even more versatile, I included 5 sky dome materials.
You can choose between clear sky, less or more cloudy, stormy, and night sky.
For Poser users I included light sets for each environment. DAZ Studio version
(with Iray materials ONLY) use sky emission materials for illumination, but you
can add simple plane with emissive material if you need additional light.
This product includes full versions for Poser and DAZ Studio (Iray materials only!)
