Twenty-one photos at 4000x3000 pixels (or 3000x4000 pixels). Twelve megapixels each.
The photos are hazy, misty, ethereal....as the woods were on the frosty mid-winter morning when I took them.
...and just think of all the wonderful things you could find in a misty place. Maybe a forest sprite playing upon the harp, or a weary traveler from the 1800s, or maybe it's the day before Halloween, and...
The ferns and trees are large. To give a size reference, the sword ferns run from 1 to 4 feet high. Most of the tree trunks are over a foot through, and some are several feet through. Photos were taken in the Cascade foothills of the Pacific Northwest. The trees are mostly Douglas fir and western red cedar with a few broad-leaved maples, spruce, hemlock, cottonwood and other trees added to the mix.
Do enjoy!
Bright blessings on all your artistic creations!
