1stBastion Mid Forest Vale is a large 3D environment props set for Daz Studio and emulates the mid northern rugged terrain found on all continents and in nature, with optimized material and light settings for both the 3Delight and Iray render engines.

The rock formations and landscape offer an interesting backdrop for your modern day or fantasy renders whether they're set in the present or a hundred or thousand years in the past. The wagon path descends from both ends at the top of the valley down to the central creek valley which has a wooden bridge to help vehicles across the stream.

Thousands of instances of vegetation help give density and variety to the scene. The cattails, tall grass, dense ferns, pink flowers, blue flowers, Desiduous tree, small sapling, small maple, small fill stones, and grass clumps are all individual props and are all included with the scene.

A scene is perfect for hiking through or camping at, this wilderness offers wide open spaces for all your modern day or fantasy and historical type renders. Set up to add thousands of additional polygons at render time, it allows moving around the setup scene and preview with very little overhead. Multiple camera angles are placed around the scene to take advantage of spaces between trees and the focal points of the paths and creek and waterfall.

The skydome and the surrounding cliffs are included and load with the scene. The low poly evergreens that wrap around and against the horizon give a 3 dimensional transition for the skydome or whatever backdrop you may prefer. The natural flow and erosion of the surrounding hills, directs the large 3Dimensional mesh waterfall to collect in the gravel basin pool and then disperse it along the creek.

The entire scene loads with lights and multiple 20 camera angles are included. The included light sets deliver exactly what you see in the promos, both 3Delight and Iray. Large 4096 x 4096 texture maps add high details to the landscape elements in the scene.

Please note, this scene extensively uses the Daz Studio Instancing system which may require special plugins to work in other applications.

For Daz Studio 4.6+ and beyond, includes separate 3Delight and Iray optimized full scenes as well as an Iray subset.
