Across the square industrious fingers are busy weaving wicker baskets for every purpose, setting them out for all to see (and maybe buy?). Round baskets, square baskets, oval and handled baskets crafted from a dozen different types of reed and strips of bark are on display for your perusal.
These two new industries are thriving in this bustling village, providing added ambience and homely comforts to the growing town.
