Hunter Shuriken

Authors:
Hunter Shuriken

Hunter Shuriken originally developed for 3D printing as a 1 to 1 scale prop. Now the CGI version is complete, this set includes a blades closed and blades deployed version of the Shuriken prop. There is no animation between the closed and deployed versions of this weapon asset, as, as you can see from the design, the components within the closed version of the weapon bear little resemblance to the deployed blades, so separate assets were developed instead, for each configuration.

This Daz Studio version is particularly desirable due to the ease with which you can transfer content from Daz3D to game engines such as Unreal, or even other 3D software packages thanks to Daz3D Bridge. It should be noted that this asset should not be considered game ready. It is designed to be higher poly than a game ready asset, so that it can be detailed enough to hold up for virtual film making, or high end image creation. It will work in Unreal Engine, but more in line with this aforementioned sort of use, it has not been optimized or prepped as a game ready asset.

You'll find the files for the Daz3D version within the TALON folder. The content within can then be added to the appropriate folders within your installation of the Daz Studio software to get the asset functioning correctly in Daz3D.
