Rozu Draw Modes for Daz 6 and 4

Rozu Draw Modes for Daz 6 and 4

This plugin adds 7 Drawing modes to Daz Studio, and highly improves viewport performance while posing.

Between this plugin and Daz Edit Mode plugin, you can get seamless viewport performance during posing in both Daz 4 and Daz 6.

Due to different underlying architectures of Daz 6 and 4, there are significant differences in this plugin's functionality and behaviour between them (tldr, this plugin has higher value for Daz 6).

Same:

- The 7 drawing modes - and their settings - exist in both versions, and look identical in Daz 4 and Daz 6

- Letting you customize which drawing modes are available and order them.

- Viewport performance improvements during posing (to different degrees between the two studios, explained below), even with posing and shaping sliders and Powerpose.

- "Pose Mode" feature, a very convenient way to instantly switch figures in and out of a base res + no smoothing, which removes lag/stutter on starting and ending movements and undo/redo. [same feature is in Daz Edit Mode]

Difference:

Posing Performance, (default) Daz 4 and Daz 6 both have utterly horrendous viewport performance during posing for completely different reasons.
Between Daz Edit Mode and Rozu Drawing Modes plugins, both are completely fixed.

But, in short, Daz 4's horrible performance mostly comes from the way it handles figures and bone movement (this is fixed in Daz Edit Mode. 1] Daz Edit Mode handles figure sliders for Daz 4 in its own way rather than in Daz 4's way, which is a major bottleneck in default Daz 4 performance. 2] Daz Edit Mode has an alternative IK system in its Daz 4 version that mimics Daz's default but with better performance, in addition to Daz Edit Mode's proper IK movement which already has excellent performance).

Daz 6 by default handles figures better, but Daz 6's horrible performance mostly comes from the way it draws the viewport, basically redrawing the full viewport every single frame, including literally everything aside from the figure being posed. This plugin has the option to draw the viewport itself during drags instead of letting Qt3D do it inefficiently (Daz 6 default behaviour), keeping the exact same look of texture mode, wired texture mode, and the 7 original draw modes added by this plugin, but giving extremely smooth performance and far higher fps during posing.

"Is this plugin worth it for performance improvements without Daz Edit mode?"
Well, the real issue here is that you don't have Daz Edit Mode. But, yes. But, seriously, go get Daz Edit Mode, it's the best plugin ever made for Daz, and the viewport performance during posing improvements made in Daz Edit Mode vs this plugin are different and address different things. Daz Edit Mode improves viewport performance during posing more in daz 4 than this does, This plugin improves viewport performance for Daz 6 more than Daz Edit Mode does.

This is part of my series of plugins intended to fully upgrade Daz Studio into a far more powerful and convenient program.
