We all come to the stores every day to see what new outfit hits the store, character morphs, hair and more, right? Well what about that House Cat pet you have for your character's? Its time to give your feline furever friend or fam some loving. This prop bundle gives you just about everything you can want to spoil your cat in your 3D scene. They may just be a background character in your story but there's no reason they can't live the high life! As I always I want to make items as many interactive objects as possible with rigged and morphing items. There are no D-Force items but I tried to create morphs that could give the same results for your House Cat's interactions with the props. There is a large variety of standalone props and wearable items for your characters to interact in your House Cat's world.
You never know where inspiration can come from for that next creation or store item. When you live with eight cats…eight SPOILED cats…this seemed like a slam dunk idea. How about creating some cat props and poses for my next RenderHub vendor offering?
The problem though was every time I thought, 'almost done', I'd go get some water or coffee and pass by one of the cat trees or cardboard circles or boxes and think, 'that would be a quick model to make.' So it went from putting together a cat prop bundle to a MEGA bundle! What I planned on taking a couple of weeks to get onto the store, became a near two month project.
Modeling was done with Lightwave 2020, Blender sculpts and Adobe Substance Painter textures. A majority of the models are Sub-divided for smoother surfaces. I tried to keep the polygon count low on the sculpted files but you know how that can go. So be aware there are some bigger polygon items. Models were created to not just look good as background items but also detailed enough for closer renders.
