SceneAgent MCP connects an AI assistant to a running DAZ Studio 6 session, so you can describe a result instead of performing it.
Ask for a figure and it searches your own installed library, loads it and fits the clothing. Ask for a camera angle and it places one. Ask for lighting, a surface change, a pose, an animation or a render, and it does that too — then captures the viewport, looks at what it produced, and corrects itself before handing it back.
WHAT IT CAN REACH
Figures and props from your content library. Poses, bone by bone or a whole figure at once. Cameras and lights. Surfaces, textures and morphs. The timeline, including writing a whole animation in one pass. The renderer and its settings. 120 tools in total.
WHY IT IS SAFE TO POINT AT A REAL SCENE
It cannot run code. There is no script tool and no way to ask it to execute anything inside DAZ Studio — every action comes from a fixed list of allowed operations, each classified read-only, reversible or destructive, and destructive ones require explicit confirmation.
Every operation is grouped into exactly one undo entry, so Ctrl+Z takes back the whole thing rather than dozens of separate steps.
The connection is local. Nothing about your scene leaves your computer, and no content is downloaded or generated — everything the assistant loads is content you already own.
