This product is a free update for existing owners of Torn Stockings for Genesis 9. It is not a standalone product—you must have Torn Stockings for Genesis 9 installed for this update to work.
This compatibility update modifies certain files, allowing the existing Torn Stockings for Genesis 9 product to work on Genesis 8/8.1 figures. Once installed, you will be able to use all features of the Torn Stockings on Genesis 8/8.1 characters.
Usage Guide:
1. Open DAZ Studio and select your Genesis 8/8.1 figure.
2. Apply the Torn Stockings to it. An Auto-Fit window will appear.
3. From the dropdown menu under "What figure was the item originally designed for?", select "Genesis 9" and click Accept. The Torn Stockings will conform to your Genesis 8/8.1 figure.
4. Check for any poke-through between the stockings and the figure. If poke-through occurs, select the corresponding stocking node, go to the Parameters panel, locate the "Anti Poke-Through" section, and adjust the values of the relevant anti-poke morphs until the issue is resolved.
5. Select your Genesis 8/8.1 figure in the Scene panel. Then use the color, thickness, and damage presets from "Torn Stockings for Genesis 9" to alter the appearance of the stockings.
6. You may also select individual stocking nodes and apply the presets to each side separately.
