This is a 3D interior scene of an underground storm sewer that redirects water during heavy rains as seen in many North American cities and towns. Designed to reduce the risk of flooding, they divert water from populated areas and release them in culverts and canals and depending on environmental rules, even rivers.
Large enough for vehicles, and capable of diverting millions of gallons of water, these concrete tunnels are a perfect place for your characters to explore. The entire scene is lit with both practical ceiling light fixtures as well as ambient point lights and spotlights. Hide or remove these to give the scene a darker and more sinister atmosphere. There are also 16 cameras strategically placed to get you moving around the large scene quickly. ALL the lights and cameras angles seen in the promos are included with the set. What you see is what you get. WYSIWYG. Characters and Vehicles are not included but available separately in the marketplaces.
There is also two human-sized entrance tunnels providing useful realistic entry and exit to the scene for storytelling flexibility. There is also a sewer grate in an exterior alley with included vertical ladder if your character wants to explore the sewers from above.
The entire scene loads: with Lights already set and optimized. The full scene is lit with both DazStudio spotlights and pointlights as well as practical emitter light fixtures on the ceiling for the appropriate renderer engine in Daz Studio. These lights work with the 16 included cameras to provide a well lit and visually interesting interior scene. If you need more light in setup use the ctrl-L shortcut to
The storm tunnel also has water running through the entire area as would be expected. There are two options, a regular water surface, and a darker green blue surface creating a more murky darkened effect. These surfaces can also be raised and lowered independently to change the depth. The set also includes a fve positioned poses for Genesis 8 characters, at the two entrance areas and the ladder above. Use these poses to move your character into position of the camera frame.
Please note: Character figures and or vehicles seen in promo images are for visualization and sizing purposes only and are not included in the product. Stanadard Daz Studio Instancing was utilized in the scene to conserve resources.
