Flinks Snow Layers contains:
15 snow layer materials designed for Poser/Superfly. These layers can be added to an existing material and rendered in Superfly to create a layer of snow on corresponding surfaces.
The density of the snow varies based on the angle of the surface. Each of the 15 layers has a different density, material, and lying angle of the snow.
Limitations:
- These layers only work with Poser version 12 and later, not with Poser 11 and earlier.
- They only work with Superfly.
- They must be assigned to each material of an object individually, which can be a lot of work for some objects that have many materials.
- The layers do not work optimally with materials that contain transparencies such as hair or leaves because the snow is also displayed on the not visible surfaces.
Using the Superfly layer material:
To add an additional snow layer to a selected material, simply select a material in the material room and load the layer material.
Each additional layer material that is loaded will add another layer of snow.
You can combine these layers for even denser snow.
Layers are not overwritten; to replace a layer, you must delete it manually.
The product also includes 5 snow shaders that are designed specifically for Superfly and objects that are entirely made of snow or are completely covered with snow.
So that their look matches the snow layers.
