DS MultiLang 1.0
Runtime UI translation for DAZ Studio 4.x — nine languages, one lightweight DLL.
DS MultiLang translates the DAZ Studio interface at runtime, without patching the application or editing its resource files. Menus, dialogs, panes, property trees, buttons, tabs and tooltips switch to your chosen language while you work, and switch back just as easily.
Built for artists who know DAZ Studio well but prefer to work in their native language, DS MultiLang keeps the original English interface intact underneath, so scenes, scripts and content remain compatible with the standard DAZ workflow.

Highlights
Broad UI coverage — main menus, submenus, context menus, preferences, render settings, dialogs, panel titles, tabs, buttons and property trees.
12,987 translation entries embedded in a single DLL. No internet connection, account or external service is needed at runtime.
Live language switching — change language from the plugin menu or the settings file; no reinstall required.
Automatic language detection on first launch, based on the system locale, with manual override.
Scene-safe saving — property labels are translated only in memory. When a scene is saved, the plugin restores the English labels and writes the file again through the DAZ SDK, so the final .duf stays in English.
No application files modified — installation is a single DLL copied into the DAZ Studio plugins folder.
Lightweight and self-contained — no background services, no telemetry, no bundled runtime.
How it works
DS MultiLang runs inside DAZ Studio's Qt event loop. It listens for newly created widgets and dialogs, translates their text through a built-in dictionary, and remembers the original English strings so every change can be reversed.
Because translation happens at the Qt widget level, it reaches parts of the interface that a script-based translator cannot, including dialog internals, tab pages and custom property views. The plugin never rewrites DAZ Studio's executable or resource archives.
Compatibility
DAZ Studio 4.x, 64-bit, Windows.
Tested with DAZ Studio 4.24 Publishing Build.
Daz Studio 6 is not supported. DS6 migrated to Qt6, which is ABI-incompatible with this Qt4-based build. A separate DS6 edition would be required.
macOS is not supported by this package. A macOS build requires the DAZ Studio macOS SDK and a Mac build environment.
Known limitations
Self-painted panes such as Scene Info may remain in English.
Some property rows show the translated label only while hovering.
Content library product names, file names and scene node names are data, not UI strings, and are not translated.
Controls painted by third-party plugins may remain in English.
Arabic and Hindi are not included: DAZ Studio's Qt fonts lack Arabic and Devanagari glyphs, so they would render as empty boxes.
Scene saving writes the file twice (normal save, then an English rewrite), so saving large scenes takes longer.
