Name: Caia Langii
Period: Late Silurian. 430 to 420 million years ago.
This Variation: This version is for use with DazStudio, versions for Poser and Vue also available.
Notes: A rare plant that existed briefly in the Late Silurian period. It lacked vascular tissue making it very primitive in its characteristics. Only small, partial fossils have been found in Hereford, England and most of the plants reconstruction is by conjecture. It is know to have dichotomous branching stems and bore sporangia.
