Parallax Backgrounds contains a dual layer, independently rotatable/scalable background prop that can be used to enclose scenes. If your scene has gaps or wide-open spaces that feel empty and jarring, you can drop in a parallax terrain to quickly buffer any open areas.
There is both a foreground and a background ring, which are both independently moveable, rotatable, and scalable, with a host of material presets for each. Material presets include common background vistas, including trees, cityscapes, mountains, and bushes. Two background rings have been used to give the illusion of depth and will also allow for a more convincing atmosphere/fog depth. A collection of lighting and mist presets have also been supplied as examples of how to light the parallax background.
This prop also includes a matte catcher to stop any fringe/halo effects that often occur with Iray's built-in matte fog.
