Halloween Apartment is a lived-in city flat of about 35 square metres decorated for the season: a 5.00 x 4.20 m living room with a twin window and a deep stool lined with pumpkins and candles, a kitchen-dining room behind a wide cased opening, an entry hall and painted six-panel doors to the bedroom and bathroom. Glowing jack-o'-lanterns on the sideboard and in the hall, candles and lanterns, cobwebs in the corners, paper bats on the walls, bat and pumpkin-light garlands across the doorways, globe string lights on the curtain rod, a candy bowl, a skull on the bookcase and autumn branches set the mood - ready for a Halloween party, a quiet spooky evening, trick-or-treat stories, family scenes or a cozy autumn night in.
Open one of five ready scenes - Full Apartment, Clean Apartment (everyday props only), Halloween Decorated, Halloween Night and Cozy Autumn - or combine the six sets yourself: Apartment Shell, Kitchen Units, Furniture, Everyday Decor, Autumn Decor and Halloween Decor all load in place, so the decoration can be switched from an everyday flat to autumn to full Halloween in any combination. Every piece is also a separate prop: 162 in all, from the sofa, armchair, sideboard, bookcase and dining table to six carved jack-o'-lanterns with lids and glowing insides, sixteen pumpkins and gourds, candles with flames, lanterns, a skull under a glass cloche, cobweb cards, eleven bats and bat groups, eleven garlands, candy, autumn leaves and branches, pillows, rugs, books and kitchen props.
Light the apartment with a double-click: Cozy Evening (warm floor, table and pendant lamps, candles and string lights), Halloween Night (lamps off, only candles, jack-o'-lantern glow and garlands, autumn night behind the window), Moonlight (a table lamp and a cold full moon shining through the window), Party (purple and orange uplights) and Daylight (a cloudy autumn day). Each preset sets the lamps, flames, emissive decoration, window view, the preset lights in the scene and the Iray exposure. Change the walls (Warm Beige, Neutral Gray, Dark Halloween), the sofa fabric (Beige, Gray, Brown), the kitchen fronts (Olive Green, Dark Gray, Black) and the view outside (Night City, Full Moon, Cloudy Sky, Autumn Evening, Cloudy Night, Autumn Night) with one-click scripts or ordinary material presets.
The L-shaped shaker kitchen has opening doors and drawers, a refrigerator, a gas range with oven, a sink and a hood with LED strips under the wall units; the sideboard, TV unit and lanterns open too, and every door leaf has a Door Open control. Ten cameras are included - from a wide living-room view and a low cinematic angle to close-ups of the coffee table and a framing for a single character. Repeated props are DAZ node instances, which keeps memory use and Iray load down.

- Iray Uber materials with base colour, roughness, metallic, normal and cut-out opacity maps (up to 4096 px); emissive candle flames, jack-o'-lantern insides, string lights, pumpkin lights, LED strips and lamp bulbs; translucent curtains, lampshades, leaves and plants.

Dimensions and geometry
Living room 5.00 x 4.20 m, kitchen-dining room 3.20 x 3.20 m, entry hall 1.50 x 2.50 m, clear height 2.80 m; about 35 square metres. A ready scene has 279,000 - 717,000 facets in DAZ Studio (most of them in the decoration); instanced copies are not counted again. Texture files total about 650 MB for all variants; a scene loads only the maps of its current look.
Compatibility and notes
Tested in DAZ Studio 4.24 and DAZ Studio 6 on Windows with NVIDIA Iray, installed from the package into a registered content library. No figure, plugin or other product is required. The one-click presets are plain DAZ Script (.dsa) files and only change nodes that belong to this product.
The scenes and lighting presets set the Iray exposure and switch the environment to Scene Only, so loading one changes your render settings. Night presets need longer render times to clear noise.
All scene images are renders of the supplied scenes in DAZ Studio 6 / Iray, lit only by the included lighting presets - no presentation lights were added; the store images use their own 4:3 cameras and the Iray denoiser. The small set and prop tiles are the product's Content Library icons.
Smart Content metadata is included and structurally validated. The product is available through Content Library without it.
Installation
The product comes as two ZIP files (Part 1: scenes, sets, props, presets, scripts and most texture maps; Part 2: the normal maps) - install both. Merge their Environments, Runtime and Documentation folders into a registered DAZ content library. Find the product in Environments > AuraVix_Studio > Halloween Apartment.
