Special effects for Daz Studio made fun, fast, and easy.
Godrays, light beams, starbursts, flames, blasts, lightning, force fields, magic orbs, sci-fi elements, and more effects are just a few clicks away.
You don't need to use Photoshop to add special effects to your images. Just add Foxy 3D Quick FX into your scene, and render!
These 2D effects were designed with clarity and speed in mind, so using them should have minimal impact on your render times.
Here's what you get with Quick FX - Variety Pack:
An emissive Quick FX prop that can be added to your Daz Studio scene. You can add multiple props if you want multiple special effects.
112 total presets that can be used in a variety of combinations to create the perfect look for your scene.
A variety of pre-made patterns in multiple colors.
Any-color patterns with a variety of color presets to choose from.
Brightness and opacity presets.
A special Invisible Glow Ball ghost light prop, to help your effect create more light where you want it.
The glow ball comes with five presets for brightness, or you can change it yourself in the surfaces tab.

USAGE TIPS:
1. Add a Quick FX Prop to your Daz Studio scene. It will load at full size, placed at world center.
2. Select a pre-made pattern preset or any-color preset.
3. Move the Quick FX Prop to where you want it in the scene.
4A. Adjust the position, rotation, and scale/size, as desired.
4B. Use the included morphs to further tweak the prop if you want.
5. Select a color preset (for any-color presets) or choose your own color in the surfaces tab.
6. Adjust the brightness and opacity with the included presets, or tweak them yourself in the surfaces tab.
7. If you want to add another effect, simply add another Quick FX prop and repeat the steps.
8A. If desired, add Invisible Glow Ball ghost light(s) at the brightness you need.
8B. The Glow Ball loads with a "helper" to aid in placement of the light.
8C. Be sure to turn off the helper in the scene tab before rendering.
That's all you need to do!
It's super easy and fast to add special effects to your Daz Studio scenes without using Photoshop.
These effects are 2D planes, so they render quickly. Much faster than volumetric effects, but with a similar look.
These effects emit light into your scene - something that's not easy to replicate in Photoshop.
All of the textures included in the product are high quality 4096x4096 tiles, saved in png and jpg formats.
They are optimized for clarity in renders while also respecting total package size to minimize unnecessary bloat.
Usage note: When you first load an effect into the scene, you may notice a slight "halo" around the effect.
This is normal. The effects come with a feather gradient to help the effect blend into your scene.
In most cases, the halo will disappear when the effect is in use. If you still see it, simply adjust the brightness and opacity.
