Caged Emotions for Poser

Caged Emotions for Poser

When you're locked into an emotion it can feel like you're trapped in a cage with no way out. But emotional cage does give you a way out - a trapdoor at the very top and a ladder to reach it.

Every side of the cage has a different pattern of bars so that you can frame your character in unique and different ways - it also gives them an opportunity to climb the bars.

Props
~~~~~
• Cage with trapdoor that opens and closes (smart propped) - can also be removed, they are separate items.
• Ladder (hooks onto bars)
• Wire box to sit on (also offered as a smart prop with the cushion on top)
• Cushion for wire box
• Rug for floor
Small props to place on the cage:
Heart
Face with 6 different mouths
About the Face: This is a prop, not a character, however, the pupils and mouth are smart-propped to the face so that they can be moved / rotated etc. There are custom dials created for that purpose - once they're on the face just click on a pupil or click on a mouth to see the custom dials.
Mouth 6, the large smile, will not rotate correctly - I couldn't find an origin point that would allow it - you'll have to reposition it if you rotate it.
The pupils are just round spheres that are pushed through the eye to give a bulging, cartoony look. Since they're separate props, you can change that - make them bigger / smaller etc. (The transparent part of the eyes are part of the face prop and can't be changed or moved - but you could make the material 100% transparent to make them disappear.)
Included is:
~~~~~~~~~
A face with the eyes (pupils in place) but no mouth.
The 6 mouths that are saved as smart props that will automatically be placed onto that face.
6 Faces with each of the mouths already in place.
2 Pupils smart propped (in case you accidentally delete them and need them back without wanting to reload the face - or duplicate the face.)

Warning: If you duplicate the face, the attached smart props won't be duplicated and you'll have to load them - but Poser won't necessarily load them onto the new face - it will most likely duplicate them on the old face. It's best to load a new face from the library.

Materials:
~~~~~~~~~
The materials for Superfly and Firefly are created together - you can switch render engines without having to change anything. This set looks equally good in either render engine.
There are 6 materials for each item in these colours:
• light grey metal and white
• dark grey metal and white
• green
• blue
• red
• rusted
Because the trapdoor and cage are 2 separate props it is necessary to change both their materials. I've setup the materials one after the other so that it will remind you.
The face material only changes the background of the face and includes the transparent eyes material so that you can apply that to any face with any mouth on it.
The default materials used for the pupils and mouths is also included in case you change them and want to change them back.
Scenes:
~~~~~~~
Scene 1: Top of the cage and the lights set for someone climbing out or sitting on top of the cage.

Scene 2: Just the cage with the furniture in place.

Tip: For a ready made background, make the Poser ground visible and add any colour or pattern to it. (My texture sets - swirly and gradient materials for Poser will add interesting patterns to it or use my set Stage Lights for Poser.)
