Victoria 4.2 poses - Everyday poses 2

Victoria 4.2 poses - Everyday poses 2

50 poses for victoria 4.2, all poses are categorized into several categories making it easy to find what you need. The poses themselves are aimed at everyday situations, and are the second package in the series. Which aim is to create a library of general poses for Victoria 4.2.

All the poses in the series have been created with dynamic cloth in mind, and therefore also comes with in between pose(s) which can be added between the start default pose and the end pose.

Since dynamic cloth is calculated through the cloth room, situations might occur where some poses might not give good results with certain type of cloth.
The between poses are only meant as a default in between pose and should be modified to suit your needs should problems occur. If your cloth calculate fine without the in between poses there are no need to use them, they are only there to make it faster to work with the dynamic cloth.
The poses can of course also just be used normally without dynamic cloth objects.

The poses was created for victoria 4.2 however they will work fine for Victoria 4, just be aware that some minor correction of hands and fingers might be needed.
Have been tested on Michael 4 and seems to work for him as well, however there are no guarantee that they will be correct as the poses weren't created for that character.

In Everyday poses 2 there is also added a dynamic swimming suit which are the one used in the promotion images. There is also an UV-template in the package, which can be used for creating own designs using Photoshop, Gimp or similar program.

-- IMPORTANT --
Be sure that "Use inverse kinematic" in "Figure" menu is turned off before you apply the poses or weird bending and twisting can occur. After applying the poses you can turn them on again if needed.

-- Using the swimming suit --
1, Add the swimming suit to the scene.

2. When you have it selected go to the menu "Object" and select change parent and select "Victoria4 or "Body" in the tree and press ok. This will make the swimming suit follow Victoria 4 so she can be moved around the scene with it.

3. Open the cloth room and choose "New simulation".
Under "Additional Cloth collision options" check "Object vertex against cloth polygon" and "Object polygon against cloth polygon". You don't have to check the last one.
As the swimming suit is rather tight fit so there shouldn't occur a lot if any cloth self collision.

Optional: To increase cloth simulation quality set the steps per frame to 6 or 8.

Press "OK"

4. Click on "Clothify" if you have the swimming suit selected it should automatically select it in the "Object to clothify" otherwise select it in the drop-down list and press "Clothify"

5. Press "Collide Against" and then "Add/Remove". Then find "Victoria4" and check it so all her parts are selected and press "Ok"

She should now show up in the "Current collision object"

Change "Collision offset" and "Collision depth" to 0.3 or 0.2 and check "Ignore head collisions", "Ignore hand collisions" and "Ignore feet collisions"
Press "Ok"

6. The swmming suit is now ready.

-- Tips for working with dynamic cloth --

Make sure that the default pose is somewhat near the end position and she is facing the same way as you intend the end result to be. This is because the
cloth is calculated and if the distance from start position to end position is to high the cloth will behave weird. As it will think the character is moving
at a very high speed.
