Fortune Teller Room is a 5.50 x 4.50 m Victorian / boho parlour with a 3.20 m ceiling: dark beams, a ceiling rose, picture rail and cornice, a tall casement window with a deep stool, heavy velvet curtains on ring clips and a velvet curtain over the door. In the middle stands a round pedestal table under a long velvet cloth with gold fringe and a brocade overlay, set for a reading with a crystal ball on an ornate brass stand, a three-card tarot spread, a closed deck, candles and an incense burner. A carved Rococo Revival armchair with a gilded moon crest waits for the reader, a velvet guest chair and a bentwood chair for the clients - ready for tarot readings, seances, witchcraft and urban fantasy, Halloween stories and character portraits.
Open one of six ready scenes - Full Fortune Teller Room, Clean Room (without the occult props), Tarot Session, Crystal Ball Session, Mystic Night and Candlelight - or combine the six sets yourself: Room Shell, Ceiling Beams, Furniture, Textiles, Room Decor and Occult Decor all load in place. Every piece is also a separate prop: 154 in all, from the bookshelf, sideboard with an oval gilt mirror, apothecary cabinet with 15 labelled drawers and tripod side table to three crystal-ball stands, 20 tarot cards with original illustrations, decks and spreads, candles, a candelabra and three lanterns with flames, 16 apothecary bottles, 20 books and spell books, 12 crystals, dried herbs, plants, ten framed pictures, two moon tapestries, a study skull, cat statues, an armillary sphere, an astrolabe, bowls, trays and charms.
Light the parlour with a double-click: Candlelight (33 candle and lantern flames, each with its own light), Moonlight (a cold full moon through the window), Mystic Night (moonlight, candles, a violet glow and a faint light in the crystal ball), Warm Interior and Daylight. Each preset sets the flames, embers, window view, the preset lights in the scene and the Iray exposure. Change the walls (Warm Neutral, Dark Charcoal, Deep Green, Burgundy Accent Wall), the floor (Old Oak, Dark Walnut, Worn Wood), the velvet of each chair (Burgundy, Dark Teal, Black), the table cloths (Burgundy Celestial, Dark Teal, Black and Gold), the curtains (Dark Teal, Burgundy, Black), the Persian rug (Burgundy, Dark Blue, Black and Gold) and the view outside (Moonlit City, Full Moon, Foggy Night, Cloudy Night, Overcast Day) with one-click scripts or ordinary material presets.
The door, the window sashes, the cabinet, sideboard and bookshelf doors and drawers open from Parameters. Sixteen cameras are included - wide views, the table from both sides of a reading, close-ups of the crystal ball and the tarot, and seated, standing and two-character framings for Genesis figures. Repeated props are DAZ node instances, which keeps memory use and Iray load down.

Dimensions and geometry
Parlour 5.50 x 4.50 m, clear height 3.20 m, window 1.60 x 2.20 m; round table 1.30 m. A ready scene has 722,000 - 1,061,000 facets in DAZ Studio (most of them in the cloth-simulated textiles and the decoration); instanced copies are not counted again. Texture files total about 1.07 GB for all variants; a scene loads only the maps of its current look.
Compatibility and notes
Tested in DAZ Studio 4.24 and DAZ Studio 6 on Windows with NVIDIA Iray, installed from the package into a registered content library. No figure, plugin or other product is required. The one-click presets are plain DAZ Script (.dsa) files and only change nodes that belong to this product.
The scenes and lighting presets set the Iray exposure and tone mapping and switch the environment to Scene Only, so loading one changes your render settings. Candle-lit scenes need longer render times to clear noise; the Iray denoiser helps.
All scene images are renders of the supplied scenes in DAZ Studio 6 / Iray, lit only by the included lighting presets - no presentation lights were added; the store images use their own 4:3 cameras and the Iray denoiser. Figures are not included. The small set and prop tiles are the product's Content Library icons.
Smart Content metadata is included and structurally validated. The product is available through Content Library without it.
Installation
The product comes as three ZIP files (Part 1: scenes, sets, props, presets, scripts and the colour maps; Part 2 and Part 3: the normal maps) - install all three. Merge their Environments, Runtime and Documentation folders into a registered DAZ content library. Find the product in Environments > AuraVix_Studio > Fortune Teller Room.
