Step off the sidewalk into the neighbourhood grocery on the corner of an early-20th-century New York tenement. NYC Tenement Corner Store is a 7.5 x 5.0 m sales room with a 3.2 m pressed-tin ceiling and a 3.0 x 2.5 m storage room behind it. The chamfered corner entrance stands under a cast-iron column; big display windows with transom lights, panelled bulkheads, a gilded sign frieze ("No. 372 Groceries & Delicatessen") and a roll-up striped awning face the street, and a modular sidewalk of concrete flags with a granite curb wraps the corner. Inside: a black and white checker floor, a hex mosaic in the entrance, schoolhouse pendants, a wooden counter with drawers, a brass cash register with keys and crank, a bakery case, candy jars, a scale, a back bar, wall and corner shelves, a centre display, a produce stand with fruit and vegetables and two oak grocer's coolers. Use it for period drama, crime stories, slice-of-life and neighbourhood scenes, from the 1920s to today.
Load one of eight ready scenes - Full, Empty (architecture, storefront, awning, sidewalk and lamps only), Classic (the warm main look), Clean, Used (Golden Hour), Aged (half-empty shelves, Evening), Night Store and Modern: glass-door fridges with lit shelves, an electronic register and contemporary packaging for all goods. Every scene comes with 12 cameras: Hero Interior, Entrance, Counter Front, Behind Counter, Shelves, Refrigerators, Storefront Exterior, Corner Wide, Products Close-up, Character Portrait, Storage Room and Top View.
Six lighting presets set everything in one click: Daylight, Warm Afternoon and Golden Hour use the Iray sun and sky of New York (the storefront faces south), with Exterior Shot versions for the street cameras; Evening, Night Store and Closed Store light the store with its own lamps under a dusk or night sky - six schoolhouse pendants, two counter lamps and a storage lamp, each with a glowing bulb and a real light, plus street light through the windows. Light groups switch the ceiling, counter, storage, fridge and window lights; visibility scripts hide a wall, the ceiling, the glass, the awning, the sidewalk or all goods for open camera angles.
Props presets fill or clear the shelves (Full, Half, Sparse, Empty), the counter, the coolers, the fruit display and the storage room. Three one-click wear scripts switch the whole store between Clean, Used and Aged, packaging presets swap every label between the 1920s-30s and contemporary designs, and 32 material presets change walls, floor (including a slightly wet floor), wood, storefront paint and fridge finish. Doors open, drawers slide, the OPEN / CLOSED card flips; 21 sets merge into an open scene in place and 108 props load on their own. About 1,770 of the 1,960 nodes of a full scene are DAZ node instances, which keeps memory use and Iray load down.

Dimensions and geometry
Sales room 7.5 x 5.0 m between the walls, 3.2 m pressed-tin ceiling; storage room 3.0 x 2.5 m behind the back wall; the sidewalk runs about 9 m along both streets from the building corner. Counter 2.5 m long. A ready scene has about 1,960 nodes (about 1,770 of them DAZ node instances) and about 130,000 polygons of real geometry. Texture files total about 725 MB for all looks; a scene loads only the maps of its current look.
Compatibility and notes
Tested in DAZ Studio 4.24 and DAZ Studio 6 on Windows with NVIDIA Iray, installed from the package into a registered content library (all 8 scenes, all 21 sets, all 108 props, lighting, material, packaging, props, light-group and visibility scripts). No figure, plugin or other product is required. The one-click presets are plain DAZ Script (.dsa) files and only change nodes that belong to this product, also next to other NYC Tenement products in the same scene.
The lighting presets change your render settings (Iray Sun-Sky or Dome and Scene with the product's sky, tone-mapping exposure). In daylight the interior and the street need different exposures: use the Exterior Shot presets for the street cameras. The Renderosity package comes as two ZIP files - install both.
All scene images are NVIDIA Iray renders (DAZ Studio 6) of the product installed from the package, lit only by its own lighting presets - no extra lights, no postwork beyond the Iray denoiser; cameras render the store's 4:3 frame, the cooler doors are opened with their Door Open parameter. The wear image adds 1:1 crops of the same renders; the prop and visibility tiles are the product's Content Library icons (Blender Cycles renders of the same geometry and textures).
Smart Content metadata is included and structurally validated. The product is available through Content Library without it.
Installation
Renderosity: extract both ZIPs (Part 1 and Part 2) to the same folder and merge their Environments, Runtime and Documentation folders into a registered DAZ content library (no enclosing Content folder). Find the product in Environments > AuraVix_Studio > NYC Tenement Corner Store.
Software: Daz Studio 4, Daz Studio 6
