Enjoy a simple plane set of aurora effects for your scenes! You get an aurora prop with 8 different styles and 3 different colors for each; gree, blue and red. The textures are high resolution, 8192x4096 fitted on a wide plane with transparency and emission. You can play around with the emission settings in the material to even have it cast light in your scene (Iray and Superfly) but in most cases you'll want some extra colored light(s) in your scene to back it up. If you want to add your own textures, the plane is scaled to 2:1 resolution, as is the image (2:1 ratio) but the UV map is square to utilize the whole image.
